We are closed this winter but Clearwater is a great choice for a winter vacation. Here are a few other choices.

Helmcken Falls Lodge - They are located right at the entrance of Wells Gray Park so you can ski right from your door. They rent ski equipment and snowshoes.  Room rates start around $70 and packages including all meals are available.  Phone: (250) 674-3657   

Half-Moon Hostel - An inexpensive way to experience the area.  Rates are $25 per person or $45 for a private room.  Coming up in  a group, ask about renting the entire hostel (can hold 10) for about $125 per night.  (250) 674-4199  http://www.halfmoonhostel.com

Clearwater Country Inn - Conveniently located on  Hwy #5  1-888-242-3533

Tanglewood Bed and Breakfast - located 5 kilometers up the Clearwater Valley Road on the way to Wells Gray Park (250) 674 3537.  They also have ski equipment for sale and for rent.   http://www.tanglewoodlodge.net/
